Luna, a 5-year-old miniature dachshund, cannot resist a blanket.
She is the pet of the Cage family of Festus.
“The dog burrows under every blanket possible,” said Dana Cage. “We find her wrapped in blankets constantly.”
Daughter Addie, 9, considers Luna to be her sibling.
“We have so much fun together,” Addie said. “We love to snuggle together in blankets.”
Dana said Luna prefers people to animals, sometimes not socializing well with other creatures.
“People, yes, she gets along with,” she said. “With other animals, she can get a little feisty.”
Addie appreciates her dog.
“I love my sister so much, she’s always by my side,” Addie said.
