Louie, a 14-year-old Chihuahua, keeps going and going, according to his owner, Stacey Deprender, Imperial.
“He’s very active,” Deprender said. “He’s got a sister, Coco, 10, he’ll chase around. He is playful. He likes to eat treats. He’ll lay on his back and likes his belly rubbed.”
Louie is shown here in an old photo.
“He’s wearing my daughter’s hat,” she said. “It was taken a few years ago.”
She said her family can make Louie smile against his will.
“We’ll do something we call ‘Chin, Chin, Chin,’ where say that and touch his chin,” Deprender said. “He doesn’t really like it, but he’ll smile. It’s really cute when he does that.”
She said Louie is not interested in making friends with other dogs than Coco.
“He doesn’t really like outside dogs,” she said.
