Pet Spot: Noodle does not object to dressing up

David and Cassidy Cooley of Imperial submitted a photo of their dog, Noodle, for Pet Spot.

Noodle is OK with her owners dressing her like this, said David and Cassidy Cooley who live in Imperial.

Noodle is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix. David took this photo of her on Easter of 2025.

“She seems to have accepted it: being dressed up,” Cassidy said.

Noodle gives people the idea she is looking at them in a disapproving way and David suspects that is exactly what she is doing.

“She’s unique,” he said. “She has a deviated muzzle that gives her the expression of permanently judging you. And she is, per the picture.”

Cassidy said Noodle prefers David to anyone else.

“She’s rude,” she said. “She doesn’t really like anyone but my husband. She tolerates me because I give her food.”

Noodle is a rescue pet the Cooleys got through Pet Rescue Services, the Cooleys said.

“I highly advise people to adopt, don’t shop,” Cassidy said.

PET SPOT invites readers to tell a story about their pets or nonprofit animal adoption agencies to write about an adoptable pet and submit it, plus an attached photo, to news@myleaderpaper.com.
