Christine Hill of Dittmer sent in this photo of Mouse the cat, who often sits like a human after losing one of his legs.

Christine Hill of Dittmer said her cat, whose name is Mouse, lost a leg six years ago, but it doesn’t hold him back.

“He got it caught in a snare trap and had to have his leg amputated,” Hill said. “He still catches and kills animals.”

Mouse, 14, is a tortoise-shell tabby.

Hill said Mouse brings joy to her life.

“He’s very smart, a kind soul, loving,” she said. “He’s always been a good cat.”

Hill said Mouse is friendly, too.

“He gets along with everybody,” Hill said. “We also have a dog and two other cats, and he gets along with all of them.”
