Lori Fechter said both of her beagles are fascinated by the slide in the yard at her Festus-area home, but only one uses it.
Her beagles, sisters Mona and Bella, are 4 years old.
“Mona runs up it and when she wants to come down, she slides,” Fechter said. “She doesn’t turn around, just slides down as she is. She did it on her own. She climbed up the slide.”
Poor Bella has only watched her sister up to now, Fechter said.
“Bella is 44 pounds and cannot get up the ladder. She’s too chubby,” Fechter said. “Mona is 26 pounds.”
She said Mona and Bella are good pets.
“They both have great personalities,” Fechter added.
