Danielle Bone of Festus said her dog, Ziva, a 9-year-old mixed breed, is named after a TV crime show character.
“She was named after Ziva on ‘NCIS,’” Bone said. “I named her. I actually renamed her after adopting her from the Humane Society. She’s a mix and has some Jack Russell in her.”
Ziva is friendly, Bone said.
“She’s sweet. She loves people. She gets along with other pets,” Bone said. “She mostly plays with my 1-year-old.”
Ziva is always ready to play.
“She’s a very active dog,” Bone said. “She’s pretty playful. She’ll play tug-of-war a lot. She likes to be chased around. She chases squirrels.
