Max, a mixed-breed rescue dog, takes it in stride when his owners have a little fun with him, like making him wear this green cowboy hat, owner Linda Stefano of Arnold said. The photo was taken recently, and Max is now close to 12, she said.
“We do different things with him,” Stefano said. “It was close to St. Patrick’s Day (when this photo was taken). We had him wear the green hat.”
She said Max has a terrific personality.
“He’s a very friendly dog,” she said. “He likes everybody. He thinks everybody likes him.”
Max remains energetic at his advanced age, Stefano said.
“He’s still very playful,” she said. “He likes to play in the water and he likes to go to Arnold Dog Park. He knows if he’s anywhere near the dog park.”
She said Max get pampered.
“He’s just kind of a spoiled-rotten guy,” Stefano said. “I don’t think he knows he’s a dog.”
