Valoree Heitmann of Festus said her family’s dog, Maggie, is an energetic, happy puppy.
“She is also known as Maggie Waggie because her tail is always wagging,” Heitmann said.
Maggie, who’s about 1 1/2, is excitable, but the family is in the process of training her to show some restraint, Heitmann said.
“We are still working on the calming down and not jumping on others, but she loves friends,” Heitmann said. “She is one good pup!”
Maggie has several interests, Heitmann reported.
“She loves her treats, belly rubs, chewing on her toys and running through the hose water when we’re watering plants,” Heitmann said.
