Linda Thomas of House Springs said her 3-year-old goldendoodle Gracie, shown in a photo taken in the summer of 2023, often sports that kind of smile.
“This is my Gracie, smiling because she’s so happy when her friends visit and come to give her a pet,” Thomas said. “She does this with the ones she loves.”
She said has had Gracie since the COVID pandemic.
“I got her during COVID when I knew I was going to be so isolated,” she said. “We’ve been buddies ever since.”
A benefit to having Gracie around is that it encourages Thomas to get some exercise.
“I need to walk,” she said. “Now, we walk every day.”
Thomas said Gracie is a good companion.
“She loves being loved,” she said.
