Casey, who’s on the right, wanted to inspect Lindsey’s new dress in this May 2016 photo taken at Lara Pippin’s Festus home.
When the photo was taken, Lindsey was 4 and Casey was 6. The Shih Tzus are now 7 and 9, respectively.
“I just bought Lindsey a dress and when I took a picture, Casey was coming over to sniff the dress,” Pippin said.
She said the Shih Tzus are good friends.
“They get along very well,” she said. “Where there’s one, there’s the other.”
Lindsey and Casey have contrasting personalities, Pippin said.
“Lindsey is very shy and very lovable,” Pippin said. “Casey is outgoing and lovable. They get along well with other people. Lindsey gets along with other dogs. Casey is not as dog-friendly.”
Lindsey and Casey enjoy leaving the house.
“We take them out to the park and walk them,” Pippin said. “They like to go places.”
