Fancy, a 3-year-old Yorkie, loves spaghetti and can identify her favorite dinner being made early in the process, her owner, Kathy Robertson of De Soto, said.
“She’s very spunky and very smart,” Robertson said. “This dog can be sitting on the back of the couch and see me get a specific pan out I use to make spaghetti. She’ll come sit right on the edge of the carpet next to the stove waiting for her spaghetti.”
Fancy does not mind the company of other dogs, so long as they do not overstay their welcome, Robertson said.
“She gets along with other dogs,” Robertson said. “They can come over and play and visit.”
If Fancy thinks the visitors are going to stay overnight, however, her attitude changes.
“She’ll hop into my bed and stay under the covers until they’re gone or sit in her little chair until they leave.”
