Chris Denby of De Soto sent in this photo of Indy, a German shepherd, and Ziva, a black Labrador. Her sister, Kathleen Gonzales of Hillsboro, own the dogs.
“Indy is 4, a pure-blood German shepherd, and Ziva is 2, a black Lab, maybe a mix,” Denby said. “They get along really well. They’re like best friends.”
Both dogs were named after fictional characters, Denby explained.
“He (Indy) is named after Indiana Jones of the (“Raiders of the Lost Arc”) movies and (Ziva) is named after a character on ‘NCIS,’” she said.
The dogs have agreeable personalities.
“Both are very friendly,” Denby said. “Between our (her and her sister’s) and our brothers’ dogs, they all get along.”
