De Soto Animal Control has a black female cat available for adoption. The cat has been available for 20 days and “wants nothing more than to be petted and held and is constantly rubbing against its cage looking for an affectionate hand,” Animal Control officer Cody Moon said.
He estimates the cat to be 1- to 2-years old.
Moon said the De Soto Animal Control facility does not name its stray animals.
He also reported that the female cat featured in the Leader Pet Spot during the week of Jan. 20 has been adopted.
For information about the cat available at De Soto Animal Control or for more information about how to adopt, send emails to Moon at codeofficer@desotomo.com, send a personal message to him on the City of De Soto Kennel Facebook page or call him at 636-586-3326, extension 114.
PET SPOT invites readers to tell a story about their pets or nonprofit animal adoption agencies to write about an adoptable pet and submit it, plus an attached photo, to nvrweakly@aol.com. Please include a phone number and city of residence for submissions from individuals and contact information for organizations.
