Ken Graves found his daughter Mandy’s dog, Daisy, taking in the sunset in May 2024 when Mandy and Daisy, who live in Imperial, were at his Hillsboro home for a gathering.
“The family was all out in the backyard having a barbecue and I just happened to look at Daisy,” he said. “My daughter brought Daisy to visit. She was sitting looking at the sunset. It just really captured what a special dog she is.”
Daisy is a 6-year-old mixed breed.
Graves said Daisy often gravitates to this part of his yard.
“She does seem to go out there quite a bit,” he said. “She likes that spot.”
He said Daisy has a nice personality.
“She’s very friendly,” he said.
