Bandon Wright sent in this photo of her family's dog, Sadie Mae, an emotional support pet.

Brandon Wright of Crystal City said she and her family are happy they got Sadie Mae, an almost 2-year-old Lab-pit bull mix, trained as an emotional support dog.

“She is an emotional support dog for my daughter, Raegan, and my husband, Aaron,” Wright said. “We got her from a friend, and she’s gone through training.”

Sadie Mae can be demanding, Wright said.

“She’s bossy,” Wright added said. “I guess she likes to talk a lot. She likes to go on rides. She tries to run the house.”

But, Sadie Mae is also fun-loving, Wright said.

“She loves to play,” Wright said. “She loves to play catch or play with her bone.”

PET SPOT invites readers to tell a story about their pets or nonprofit animal adoption agencies to write about an adoptable pet and submit it, plus an attached photo, to news@leaderpublications.biz.
