Cassie Storey of Festus said her dogs, Jack and Ralph, are almost always in motion.
Ralph, a 2-month-old Malshi – a Maltese and shih tzu – and Jack, a 1-year-old shih tzu, are “best of friends,” Storey said.
“They’re both active,” she added. “Jack tries to be a big brother to Ralph. Ralph is a little antagonizer. He bites on Jack’s tail and his ears and gets him all riled up. They’ll chase each other in the yard. It’s like they play tag.”
Jack and Ralph enjoy hikes, Storey said.
“Ralph will get tired. When he does, he gets carried in a backpack."
