Calie, a calico cat, shares many traits with the Garfield comics strip character, owner Bridget Smith of Arnold said.
“She’s lazy, likes to whine and eats all the time,” she said.
Calie is about 3. The up-close photo was taken in the Smiths’ living room in April 2018.
Smith said the cat is not wild about other animals but gets along with humans.
“The few times we’ve had other pets over, she didn’t like it,” Smith said. “She loves people. She’ll let you pet her.”
Calie has one special possession.
“She only has one toy she likes, an orange fish,” she said.
Smith said her family prefers felines as pets.
“We had cats years ago,” she said. “They’re just so much less maintenance than dogs.”
