Carolyn Mosley of Hillsboro said her Great Dane, Bruno, loves his oversized tennis ball, as shown in this photo taken earlier this month at their home.
“Bruno enjoys playing with the perfect-size tennis ball for him,” Mosley said. “We don’t inflate it all the way so he can grab it with his teeth. It feels like a tennis ball, but you can inflate it to where you want it to be. We can toss it out and he’ll bring it back. After a couple times, he’ll lie down and gnaw on it.”
She said Bruno, who is 3 years old and weighs 190 pounds, is an affable pet.
“He’s very sweet,” Mosley said. “He loves kids. He loves other dogs. He’s a typical Great Dane. He’s a gentle giant.”
