Benelli, a 1½-year-old black Labrador, is usually on the move, said owner Sky-Ann Williams of De Soto who is a Leader account representative.
“She’s a firecracker,” Williams said. “She is wild. She loves being outside.”
Benelli, who weighs about 90 pounds, assists Williams on hunts.
“She’s a duck hunter,” she said. “When we shoot a duck, she retrieves it. She’s getting good at it, but she’s still learning.
She said Benelli will be part of her upcoming nuptials to fiance Ethan Chandler.
“She’ll be in our wedding in October,” Williams said. “Ethan’s best friend came up with the name Benelli, a duck-hunting shotgun brand.”
