Tina Crismon of Barnhart said she and her family are glad they adopted TeddyBear, an older dog.
TeddyBear, a 12-year-old Morkie – a Yorkie and Maltese mix – has fit in well with the household, she said.
“We just got him two years ago,” Crismon said. “His original owner passed away and he was kind of being shuffled from place to place. He’s been a good addition to the family. You never know how much a dog can rescue you when you rescue it.”
She said TeddyBear often stands up on his hind legs.
“He does it if he wants something to eat. He does it if he wants to go outside. He’ll do it if he just wants your attention.”
TeddyBear is affectionate, Crismon added.
“For being an old man, he’s got a loving personality,” she said. “He likes to be snuggled and hugged on.”
