This is a photo of our 8-year-old cats Fluffy and Oreo lounging on our bed in December 2013. Oreo is hiding under the covers. They are homey, happy and like to be warm. Fluffy is a male and Oreo is a female.
They often get under covers. They like to be burrowed in. I guess they like the warmth, maybe the dark.
Oreo always sleeps with my husband. She cuddles under his arm. Even if he’s in the lounge chair, she’s on his hip.
They’re feral cats. We brought them in when they were babies and raised them. Oreo is a little more friendly than Fluffy.
We’ve always had cats. We’ve had a dog too, but we’re very much cat people.
We think they’re easier to take care of than dogs. When my husband was ill back in 1997, our cats helped him recover.
