Scrappy’s owners, Randy Elfrink and Melinda Young of Barnhart, said their 4-year-old, wirehaired terrier-dachshund mix is a quick learner.
“He’ll sit pretty,” Elfrink said. “He can roll over both ways. He also lays down on command.”
Scrappy is a rescue dog, and Elfrink and Young got him three years ago.
He has an agreeable personality, Elfrink said.
“He’s great. He gets along with people and other pets. He’s a daddy’s boy, but he loves Mom a lot, too.”
Elfrink said he and Young love Scrappy.
“Melinda and I are so lucky to have found him,” Elfrink said. “He has brought so much joy, love and laughter to our life. He’s a good pet and a member of the family.”
