Rich Jordan of House Springs graduated from Northwest High School, where he played football, in 1969. He then enlisted in the Army and spent much of his two-year hitch in Vietnam.
“I can accurately say that I am an honorably discharged, decorated and disabled Vietnam veteran,” he says. “I traveled extensively in Vietnam in ’71 and ’72. My younger daughter was born the day I arrived in Vietnam, a gap we have yet to bridge. I have Agent Orange issues that will never abate. I’m just glad I didn’t give my life to that debacle.”
