Barely eight hours after leaving the field at completing their halftime show on Friday, Oct. 20, at Tiger Stadium, the Festus High Marching Tigers departed for a home of the Tigers of a different stripe -- the University of Missouri, which was celebrating its homecoming with a parade through downtown. When all was said and done (and played), the Marching Tigers were judged the best musical unit and was the top-scoring high school band in the procession to win top honors in the Gold Division (large schools). While awaiting for the results to be tallied, some of the band members, apparently with some energy still to burn, engaged in a spirited game of Duck, Duck, Goose.
