Pie crust recipe for an 8- or 9-inch two-crust pie

1 3/4 cups of flour

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon salt

3-4 tablespoons cold water.

Mix flour, oil, and salt until particles are a size of a small pea. Sprinkle in water, 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until flour is moistened and pastry almost cleans side of bowl. If pastry is too dry, 1-2 tablespoon of oil can be added. Take half of the pastry out of bowl and roll out. Put in pie plate. Add filling and roll out second half and put on top of pie.
