2-4 pieces of bacon

Fresh garlic, flavor to taste

1 pound Swiss chard, any variety

Cut your bacon into quarter-inch pieces and fry. Drain oil to 2 tablespoons.

While bacon is frying, clean the chard and cut or rip into 1-inch strips. Clean and crush garlic, mince and add to fully cooked bacon bits.

Cook garlic for no more than 30 seconds, add chard and cook until wilted.

Serve hot.

For a healthier version, drain all oil and use an extra-virgin olive oil.
