The city of Pevely recently recognized resident Josephine Astel, who will turn 100 on Oct. 27. The presentation was held at the Oct. 5 Pevely Board of Aldermen meeting. Some of Astel’s relatives attended the meeting and said the centenarian is excellent at solving the word puzzles on “Wheel of Fortune.”
