The Jefferson County Health Department has switched to the Missouri Vaccine Navigator system for COVID-19 vaccine registration. The system allows people to register for a vaccine and make their appointment to receive a vaccine on the same day from a list of available sites.
“Missouri Navigator will provide a centralized registration system to make it simpler for individuals to schedule an appointment,” Jefferson County Health Department Director Kelley Vollmar said. “Adopting the state system will ensure that all residents 16 and older have the opportunity to find a clinic for easy access to the vaccine that meets their needs.”
People may seek vaccinations from their health care provider, if offered, or they may view mass vaccination events and other providers in their area, the Health Department reported.
The Health Department’s vaccine clinics scheduled for next week have been posted on the Navigator system and are open to all eligible Missourians.
People interested in receiving a vaccine through the Health Department must register with Navigator first and then schedule an appointment. To register online, go to covidvaccine.mo.gov/navigator/. Or, call 877-435-8411.
