Anyone looking for collectibles, tools, kitchenware or other interesting items might find what they are looking for at More Stuff by Al’s Estate Sales, 1606 Gravois Road, in High Ridge.
Al Eckert, 62, of Affton, who has been in the estate sale business for 12 years, opened the 4,000-square-foot thrift store on Aug. 7, in the space that used to house Stuff N More.
Eckert said he was “playing off” the former store’s name when he came up with the one for his shop.
“It went from Stuff N More to More Stuff,” he said.
Eckert said Stuff N More was a nonprofit operation that relied on donations, but his shop is a for-profit business, and he does not take donations.
Instead, he sells items he acquires from estate sales or from other sources.
“After a three-day (estate) sale, there's still good stuff left over that didn't sell,” Eckert said
He said his inventory includes Tupperware, Pyrex, yard tools, handheld tools, small furniture, vintage albums, die-cast cars, Hot Wheels, pocket knives and more.
“A little bit of everything,” he said.
The store is open 2-7 p.m. seven days a week.
