Representatives of Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurants applied for and have received the necessary permits to renovate the old Cecil Whittaker’s Pizzeria space at the Festus Pointe retail complex along Hwy. A, city officials reported.
The Qdoba restaurant’s address will be 1300A Hwy. A.
“They have gotten all their permits, applied for and approved,” said Mark Harris, Festus building and planning director. “They are completely redoing the interior. There will be a new kitchen.”
Qdoba creates “freshly-made, Mexican-inspired food crafted with contemporary flavors that guests crave,” according to its website.
Harris said he does not know of a target date for the restaurant’s opening.
Qdoba representatives did not respond to requests for information for this story.
