The Walgreens, 519 S. Truman Blvd., in Festus is closed for the second day today (June 5) because of a problem with the store’s computer server.
The store closed at 3 p.m. Tuesday (June 4) and will not reopen until the server is replaced. Walgreens employees said they do not know how long it will take to install the new server and reopen the store.
“The store is temporarily closed,” Walgreens spokeswoman Alex Brown said. “We’re working to replace the server as soon as we can. The pharmacy patients of the store are being told to go to the nearby (Walgreens) store at 1718 Catlin Drive, Barnhart.”
