Donut Hole is coming to Crystal City. The doughnut shop is expected to open at 803 N. Truman Blvd., possibly as soon as by the end of the month.

A third Donut Hole shop is coming to Jefferson County. It is expected to open soon at 803 N. Truman Blvd. in Crystal City, company spokeswoman Lyda Phyrum said Monday (April 9).

“We’re hoping to open by the end of the month, but not later than in two months,” Phyrum said.

Already, there is a Donut Hole shop at 7125 Metropolitan Blvd. in Barnhart and another one at 10677 Business 21 in Hillsboro. All three shops are owned by Charlie Cheng, Phyrum said.

The Crystal City location will have business hours similar to the other two shops, she said.

The Barnhart Donut Hole is open from 5:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Sunday, and the Hillsboro site is open from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Both are closed on Mondays.

“It looks like a good location,” Phyrum said of the Crystal City site.

She said the business will likely hire two part-time employees for the Crystal City site.

Phyrum said the Donut Hole shops sells a variety of doughnuts, coffee and soft drinks.

“We make a lot of specialty doughnuts, like maple bacon, Butterfinger, Heath,” Phyrum said.
