A 48-year-old man was found dead Jan. 12 at his home in the 3100 block of Ruby Drive in High Ridge, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

His sister found him dead about 10:15 a.m. that day, the report said.

She told deputies she had last seen him before she left for work at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 11, according to the report.

The sister also told deputies that her brother had complained about feeling weak but refused to go to the hospital, the report said.

She found him lying on the living room floor, according to the report.

There were no signs of foul play and his body was released to a mortuary, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
