The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about the recent theft of an air compressor and weed eater from a home in the 2100 block of Tulip Hill Drive in Imperial, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The theft happened between June 17 and June 18.
A Porter-Cable air compressor and a Honda weed eater were stolen from a shed at the home, and the door to the shed was damaged, the report said.
In all, the damage was estimated at $600, according to the report.
The victim told deputies a neighbor told him the door to his shed was open and when the victim checked it out, he found that the door lock had been pried off and the items were missing, the report said.
No arrests had been made as of June 20, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
He urges anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
