The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about the theft of copper piping and other items from a home in the 6600 block of Timberland Drive in Cedar Hill.

Also, drywall and several doors were damaged during the burglary, which took place between 11 a.m. Dec. 13 and 8 a.m. Dec. 27, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

About 15 feet of copper pipe, an air-conditioning unit, a 16-foot aluminum ladder and 30 wooden slats from the front porch were stolen, the report said.

The damage and stolen items were valued at about $3,090, according to the report.

The thief or thieves kicked in the front door to get into the home, the report said.

The victim told deputies she had recently evicted a tenant, according to the report.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday (Jan. 3), said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
