Jim McKinney, then and now.
Elaine McKinney of Crystal City sent in two snapshots of her husband, Jim. “The ‘then’ picture was taken in July 1962 of Army Pvt. James T. McKinney as a young man of 18,” she said. “In 1963, Jim shipped to Kaiserlautern, Germany. He completed his tour of duty in July, 1965. The ‘now’ photo is of a smiling Jim thoroughly enjoying retirement.”
