Essian Smith

Festus quarterback Essian Smith tries to break away from a Valle Catholic tackler during their game on Sept. 2. The Tigers (1-2) host De Soto (1-2) tonight (Sept. 16) at 7 p.m. in a Mississippi Area Football Conference Red Division game.

I-55 Conference defending champion St. Pius X (2-1) travels to Jefferson (1-2) for a conference game. The Lancers beat the Blue Jays last year 24-20 on a last-second touchdown.
