Following a close first half, the Tigers (10-2) pulled away at Sullivan High (9-4) for a 42-7 victory in the Class 4 quarterfinals.
Junior Kamden Yates scored four TDs for Festus, including a pick six.
It’s the second year in a row the Tigers have made it to the semifinals and they host unbeaten Kearney (12-0) Saturday at 1 p.m. Kearney beat Hillsboro High in the 2023 state championship game and has won five state titles.
The Class 2 and 4 Show Me Bowl is at Spratt Memorial Stadium in St. Joseph on Dec. 6.
