At the De Soto track and field Invitational on April 17, the Dragons won the boys competition with 97 points, and Koerber, a senior, finished first in the 1,600-meter run in 4:30.68 and the 3,200 in 9:58.70. Koerber finished seventh in the state last season in the 3,200 in 9:37.29. Koerber qualified for the Class 4 state cross country meet three times, and finished fourth in 2025. He holds the 5K record at De Soto in 15:38.13. He has signed to run at Southeast Missouri State University.
