The senior was a unanimous selection for the first team defensive line on this year’s I-55 Conference football squad. Floyd had 44 tackles and five sacks playing for the Blue Jays, who allowed 11 points per game and finished the season 9-2. Floyd was also a first-team all-conference pick at offensive tackle on an offensive line that opened holes for Jefferson runners to gain 3,579 yards and score 51 touchdowns.
