The senior quarterback guided the Hawks to the Class 4 quarterfinals for the first time in five years. Isaacson scored the game-winning touchdowns in the fourth quarter of the district semifinal against Farmington and championship against Cape Girardeau Central. In Hillsboro’s 34-20 loss to Ladue in the quarterfinals on Friday, Isaacson scored two touchdowns, ran for a two-point conversion and completed 7-of-13 passes for 100 yards. Isaacson also plays for the school’s basketball and baseball teams.
