Konner Armstrong, Jefferson track and field
The junior thrower won the shot put (15.71 meters) and the discus (45.13 meters) at the Jefferson County Activities Association meet at Hillsboro on April 27-28. Armstrong, a first-team all-I-55 Conference football selection on the offensive and defensive lines last fall, scored 20 of the Blue Jays’ 49 team points at the conference meet.
