The freshman forward scored two straight goals (one in the first half, one in the second) in the Hawks’ season-opening 5-0 win against Festus in a Jefferson County Activities Association game on Friday. It’s the third straight season the Hawks have started the season with a win over the Tigers. Hillsboro advanced to the Class 3 quarterfinals for the first time in 2018.
