For decades, Ozarks Federal Savings and Loan has been providing financial services in Jefferson County.
The institution’s lone Jefferson County branch is at 643 N. Creek Drive in Festus.
“We have five locations – our home office in Farmington and Festus, Potosi, Ironton and Fredricktown,” said Ryan Vangilder, vice president-senior lender of the financial institution. “We’ve been around since the 1930s. We’ve had an office in Festus since the 1960s. We’re established.
“We’ve had the same mission since the start – we want to help people buy a home and to provide a safe place for their money.”
With this in mind, people can come with confidence to Ozarks Federal Savings and Loan to use its services, he said.
“We specialize in home loan lending,” Vangilder said. “We offer a wide variety of products, whether it’s construction loans or land loans. We also have conventional loans along with USDA and FHA loans. We have home equity loans and lines of credit.”
He said Ozarks Federal Savings and Loan has a long history, but it also has kept up with the times.
“Even though people think of us as a traditional savings and loan, we offer modern technology with our accounts,” Vangilder said. “We’ve got online banking, mobile banking.”
