Realtor Tara Hebenstreit of Coldwell Banker Realty-Gundaker said she specializes in finding homes for families south of St. Louis.
“My specialties are Jefferson, St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties,” she said. “I focus on bringing families to our community.”
Hebenstreit, who is based in Festus, said she is involved in her community.
“I live in the community with my husband, Jerrod,” she said. “We have six children together and two grandchildren.
“I’m interested in giving back to my community with sponsoring fundraising events and supporting Meals on Wheels.”
Hebenstreit said she also sponsors some Festus R-6 events.
She said she believes the real estate market will continue to keep her busy.
“In 2022, I helped 66 families close either selling or buying a home,” she said. “I strive to bring in even more families this year. I can help families, investors and builders.”
Hebenstreit said commercial and residential development is growing in Jefferson County.
“There’s new construction, new builders, new commercial properties,” she said. “That’s all positive because it brings more jobs to the area.”
Hebenstreit said she is optimistic the coming months will be good for real estate sales.
“This is my ninth year in real estate in the area,” she said. “We’re looking forward to the spring market starting. The interest rates look to normalize out. They’re not low, not high.”
Hebenstreit said the people she works with contribute to her success.
“I want to thank the support I get from my lenders, title company and the referrals,” she said.
