Hillsboro officials at about 2:30 p.m. today, Jan. 5, lifted a boil water advisory that was first announced on Dec. 28.

Pevely officials issued a 72-hour boil water advisory at about 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, for the area east of I-55 and south of Hwy. Z.

The city of Hillsboro is no longer under a boil water advisory.

The boil water advisory in Festus will remain in effect at least until Wednesday, Oct. 26, City Administrator Greg Camp said.

Water boil orders have been issued for customers in the Public Water Supply District 2 and for some customers in Public Water Supply District 6.
