Thelma E. Fischer, 95, of High Ridge died March 1, 2017, in Carmel, Ind. Mrs. Fischer was the owner/operator of a department store. Born March 7, 1921, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Rose (Rakel) Petry. She was preceded in death by her husband: Frederick William Fischer.
She is survived by two daughters: Lynette M. Schnaare and Brenda M. Arnold, both of Indianapolis, Ind. She was preceded in death by a son: Frederick E. “Ricky” Fischer.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, in Affton. Burial is in the Sunset Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to a church of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
