Tammy (Govro) Worley, 61, of De Soto died Jan. 9, 2020. Mrs. Worley worked in child care. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with family. Born April 22, 1958, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Cindy (Schanz) Govro. She was preceded in death by her husband: Stanford Worley.
She is survived by a daughter: Kelly (Joe) Merritt of De Soto; two grandsons: Jacob and Ryan Merritt; four siblings: Jimmy (Robin) Govro of Festus, Ruth (Steve) Ash of Festus, Debbie (John) Skaggs of Hillsboro and Betty (Ron) Bollinger of De Soto; a brother-in-law: Gene Markotay of Festus; three sisters-in-law: Denece (Jerry) Bishop of Pevely, Darla Jines of De Soto and Connie (Jerry) Quillmon of Desloge; and his mother-in-law: Mary Worley of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Louise Jefferies and Judy Markotay; a brother-in-law: David Jines; and his father-in-law: William Worley.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Community Improvement Association (CIA) hall, 13468 State Hwy JJ, east of De Soto. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Copeland Funeral Home in Park Hills.
