Steven Wayne Hankins, 57, of De Soto died May 18, 2018, at his home. Mr. Hankins was a floor technician at Walmart for more than 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting and spending time with family and friends. Born Nov. 24, 1960, in St. Louis, he was the son of Leola (Kennedy) Hankins of De Soto and the late Billy Hankins.
He is survived by two sons: Jacob (Sara) Hankins of Holts Summit and Kevin (Jamie) Hankins of De Soto; two brothers: Michael (Cathy) Hankins of Crystal City and Scott (Jill) Hankins of De Soto; three grandchildren: James, Leah and Lauren Hankins; and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Mahn De Soto Chapel, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Pastor Don Bahr. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
