Stacey L. Mercer, 35, of De Soto died Dec. 21, 2016, at St. Alexius Hospital in St. Louis. Ms. Mercer was a member of the Baptist faith. Born Aug. 14, 1981, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of James (Jerri Lofton) Mercer of Festus and Carol Thompson of De Soto.
She is survived by two siblings: Tammy (George Jr.) Haffer of Sullivan and Shannon Mercer of De Soto; and a stepbrother: Jason Lofton of Festus.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27,at the funeral home, officiated by Troy Coke. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
